“As a Flint”

If you have been in the ministry for a length of time, it is inevitable that you have faced things both directly/indirectly that may cause you think “is it worth it wish you could be there to do something “ The truth is there will always be something the Devil tries to use to distract you from what the Lord has called you to do, may I suggest that you set your face “…as a flint..” (Isaiah 50:7) Naturally, the end of September, was difficult to see our home state and parts of our hometown was devastated by a hurricane. We’re not for sure why the Lord chose to keep us safe and not in the area but watching countless videos and reports from family was certainly saddening. The Lord is faithful and has reminded us that we cannot lose focus on what God has called us to do.
We began the month with our friend, Bro. Timothy Henderson at Faith Baptist Church in Mississippi for their annual campmeeting . We also had the opportunity to visit churches in the area was able to schedule a missions conference in the near future.
The following week we travelled to Alabama and we were able to present at two churches as well as schedule another mission conference. We are especially grateful to Bro. Eby and Alden Baptist Church for opening their prophet’s chamber for us to use. Also, we are thankful to Green Pond Baptist Church opening their doors to us a well. We finished the month updating Larue Baptist in Kentucky.
